Yes! iTALK, our 24/7 automated telephone teller, offers a fast, easy, and secure alternative for many common transactions such as balance inquiries, transaction history, list of checks cleared, transfers, payments and more! To get started, simply dial our main number and select OPTION 2. You may also reach iTALK directly at 1-844-454-9982. First time users will be prompted to set up a unique PIN that will be used each time you call iTALK. Simply enter your member number and follow the prompts to get to the service you need.

A signature is required for all address changes. We have many convenient options available to process this type of account maintenance. Please contact us at 1-800-440-4120 or visit a branch location for assistance.

Freedom’s routing number is 255077299. Your account number, as required for setting up any electronic deposit or withdrawal, can be found in the Details section of the share account in Online/Mobile Banking. Your routing and account number for your checking account can also be found on the bottom of your printed checks.

Bill Pay

Getting started with Bill Pay is simple! For complete information related to Bill Pay enrollment, please refer to our Bill Pay reference guide.

Bill Pay is a free service as long as it is used at least once per month. When it is not used for a month, Bill Pay will go inactive and your account will be assessed a Bill Pay fee. If you no longer plan on using Bill Pay, you may request it be deactivated by contacting us at 1-800-440-4120 or visiting any branch location for assistance.

Bill Pay is linked to your primary checking account by default. If you have multiple checking accounts on one membership, you can choose which account will be linked. Only one checking account can be linked to Bill Pay.

For electronic Bill Pay transactions, the funds are withdrawn when daily processing takes place (Around 3pm), Monday through Friday. Payments are not processed on holidays or weekends. For Bill Pay transactions where the payee does not receive electronic payments, a check will be issued. The check will be withdrawn from the account once the payee has processed it through their own financial institution.

eBills are a component of Freedom’s Bill Pay service that allow you to see detailed information for eligible payees. This may include: basic payment details, full PDF billing statements, etc… This feature gives you the option to automatically pay an eligible payee whenever a new eBill is received.

Credit Cards

Freedom’s debit and credit cards can be connected to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay digital wallets.

You can view your credit card details online with just a few clicks!
• Select your VISA Credit Card tile in the Dashboard or in the Accounts list
• Click the link labelled “Credit Card Details” to launch the credit card site.
• If you have not previously registered your card, check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, then follow the remaining prompts to complete verification.
NOTE: You must enter the personal information of the primary cardholder on file.
• Once you have successfully registered your card, the credit card page will open any time you click the “Credit Card Details” link in Online or Mobile Banking.
• The full credit card site will load where you can view transactions, statements, make payments, file credit card disputes and more!
Please note that you may also access you full credit card details by downloading our Freedom Card Manager App on your mobile device. Set up a username and password for the app and you will be able to manage all of your Freedom credit and debit cards on the go!

Online and Mobile Banking

New online/mobile banking users can self-enroll on our website or on our mobile app. You can view step by step enrollment instructions here.

*If you recently obtained a Freedom auto loan through a dealership, please await your welcome packet in the mail, which will contain the account number you will need to enroll in online banking. Your account number is the first 6 digits of your loan number.

Online/Mobile Banking is required for Mobile Deposit Capture, also called Mobile Check Deposit. Make sure to endorse the back of the check with your signature and in print (no cursive, please) “FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY AT FREEDOM FCU” below your signature.

Once logged into Mobile Banking from your phone/tablet:

  • Click the Deposit icon
  • Enter the amount of the check
  • Select the account to deposit the check
  • Take a picture of the front of the check
  • Take a picture of the back of the check
  • Review the check amount and the pictures
  • Click Submit

If you know your password, but simply want to change it, you can do that in the Online/Mobile banking portal. Login to the system using your existing credentials. Navigate to Settings and choose Security. In the Security section, you can change your username, password or mobile app passcode. If you have forgotten your password, please refer to our step-by-step reset guide.

To link your memberships online, we will need signature authorizations from all parties on all accounts to be linked. Please contact us at 1-800-440-4120 or visit a branch location for assistance.

You may transfer between share savings and checking accounts on the same membership by utilizing the “TRANSFERS” feature in Online or Mobile Banking. Once logged in, you will select the “TRANSFERS” feature from the menu and then choose “Make A Transfer”. From there, you will select which account you want to transfer FROM and then select the account you want to transfer TO. You may manage the date and frequency by selecting “MORE OPTIONS”. To transfer across memberships, you must link your Online Banking profiles. Please contact us at 1-800-440-4120 for assistance with linking your memberships online or help with a cross-membership transfer.

You may transfer funds from another account into your Freedom account right in Online/Mobile Banking. Once signed in, you may select “Transfers” and then select “+ External Account”. To add your external account for transfers, you will need to know your routing number, account number, and whether you are transferring from a checking or savings account.

To make a transfer from your Freedom membership to another Freedom membership, please contact us at 1-800-440-4120 or visit any branch location. You will need to know both member numbers in order to complete the transfer.

Your FICS mortgage summary including balance, payment due and next payment date can be viewed by selecting your Mortgage account in your Dashboard or from the Account list in Online/Mobile Banking. To view full details, please refer to your monthly statement. If you have enrolled in eStatements, you will see your monthly mortgage statement by clicking on Documents from your Primary Share account. For Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit, you may view full account details and transactions in Online/Mobile Banking by selecting your loan form the the Dashboard or Account list.

If you believe someone has accessed your online banking without your consent, please change your password immediately and contact Freedom by calling us at 1-800-440-4120 or visiting any branch location.

Statement and Account Documents

If you are enrolled to receive Electronic Statements (eStatements), you will be able to access your 1099-INT in Online Banking. First, log in to Online Banking and click on any share or loan account, then click the documents tile to get to the eStatements portal. Once you are in the eStatement portal, choose tax forms from the drop down to view and/or print your document. If you are not registered for eStatements, your 1099-INT form will be mailed to the mailing address we have on file for your account.

If you are already enrolled online/mobile banking, you can view our step-by-step eStatement enrollment guide. If you are not yet enrolled in online/mobile banking, please follow the steps to enroll.

If you are already enrolled in eStatements, log into Online/Mobile Banking and click on any of your share accounts or loans. Select the DOCUMENTS tile. Once the statement portal launches, click on “Account Statements” to select and view the statement of your choice. Statements are in an easy to use, PDF format and may be printed or saved. Statements are stored for 12 months. If you are not currently enrolled in eStatements, follow the enrollment instructions. Your first eStatement is available in the first month following your registration.

You will need to allow pop-ups in the eStatement portal in order for your statements to be visible.

You may view and download copies of checks that have cleared your account. Locate the check transaction in your checking account history in Online/Mobile Banking and click on the small green icon next to the date to load more details. From the Transaction Details window, select the number icon under the “Images” section to load any available images. If available, your check image will load as a PDF file that you may download, print, or share by clicking on the printer icon in the top right corner. *Please note: not all checks will have images available. Checks manually cleared at a branch and checks converted to electronic (ACH) transactions will not have images available.

To discontinue eStatements, launch your eStatement portal, navigate to Settings, then click Discontinue/Resume Accounts. Follow the prompts to choose and confirm which accounts, for which you want to discontinue receiving eStatements. Keep in mind that fees may apply if you choose to receive paper statements. Third Party Apps

Some will use your debit card number and some may give your the option to use the routing and account number. Freedom’s routing number is 255077299.
