The new system allows you to receive an automated call that easily walks you through reviewing suspicious activity on your card. You may also sign-up to receive Automated Fraud Alerts text messages on your mobile phone.

Our new automated system includes:

    When suspicious activity has been detected on your account, our automated system will contact you by text or phone.
  • 2-Way Communication
    You can take action the second you receive your alert. Simply follow the instructions to answer questions regarding your recent card activity.

    Our live agents are ready to assist you at any time to ensure you receive the best defense exactly when you need it. Members should be aware that, while Freedom does monitor fraudulent or suspicious account activity and may proactively contact a member about this activity, we will never call and ask for confidential information such as your entire account number or PIN. Please contact us at 1-800-440-4120 to let us know if you have provided confidential information.

You can choose a profession-themed card if you work at a Freedom partner such as University of Maryland-Upper Chesapeake or Harford Memorial; MedStar Health; Harford County Public Schools, or the Harford County Association of REALTORS.

  2. Design your card. Resize selected image (if uploaded or emailed) and rotate or slip if necessary

New iTalk Telephone Banking Service

iTalk “Telephone Teller”

Enjoy the convenience of telephone banking. Secure transactions and current account(s) information is only a phone call away! This free service lets you make a variety of inquiries and transactions with a single call. A voice prompt guides you through each and every step. Help is available at any time throughout your call.

Members may enroll in iTalk at a branch or by calling the Contact Center at 800-440-4120. Members will be set up with an initial PIN for security. Your account number and PIN are all you need to get started.

The new service is an option for members who call our main number (800-440-4120 or 410-676-5700). The direct line, 844-454-9982is also available at all times.

Some of the transactions/activities that members can perform through iTalk include:

  • Funds transfers
  • Loan payments
  • Balance inquiries
  • Stop payments
  • Request emailed account history
  • Check withdrawals
