General

Every member is assigned a “member number” that acts as an umbrella for all shares and loans. Each share and loan is assigned a suffix. Your loan number is your member number combined with the suffix of your loan. For example, if your member number is 123456 and you have a car loan with the suffix 0001 and a personal loan with the suffix 0002, the car loan number to use is 1234560001 and the personal loan number is 1234560002. When sending funds to Freedom for your loan, please use this format to enusure proper crediting. For questions, please contact us at 1-800-440-4120 or visit any branch location.

We will complete necessary paperwork to ensure that the claim is processed within a timely manner. Freedom will initiate warranty cancellations with the appropriate dealership, if applicable. Freedom will also initiate the GAP claim, if applicable, once the insurance settlement has been received. Payments should be maintained until the loan has been paid in full.

Home Loans

A HELOC is a revolving line of credit with a variable interest rate. Your interest rate is based on Prime rate and your credit score with payments based upon loan balance, interest rate and a 15 year term.  It also features a 10 year draw period.  The Home Equity Loan is a fixed-rate loan that has only one draw at the time of settlement.  Terms range from 5, 7, 10,15 and 20 years and rate are determined by term and credit score.  With multiple applicants, we use the higher of the scores so you’ll receive the best rate available.

Loan Products

A balance transfer and debt consolidation are similar in that existing debt is transitioned into a different, typically lower rate loan/credit card product. Balance transfers differ from a debt consolidation loan in that they are moved from one credit card to another. Often there are fees associated with a balance transfer, but the credit line can be reused as the loan is paid back. Debt consolidation can include existing credit card balances, as well as other types of debt, but in this case, all debt is moved to a closed-end, fixed-rate loan.

Freedom’s Anything Loan is a fixed-rate, closed end loan that can be used for ANYTHING! To find out more, call us at 1-800-440-4120, visit any branch location, or visit our Anything Loan section.
