Daily limits for Freedom debit cards are: $500 ATM withdrawal, $1000 PIN based transaction, $3000 signature based transaction or a 10 transaction limit (regardless of amount) – whichever is lower.

You may redeem your Visa Platinum Rewards points online by registering your card with CURewards. Points can be redeemed for cash back to your Freedom checking or savings account, a Visa statement credit, premium merchandise, travel discounts, and gift cards.

Cash advances on your Freedom Visa Credit card can be done by using an ATM along with the assigned PIN. Cash advances on your Freedom Visa or any other Visa card can also be done at any branch location.

Account Changes

You can request a credit limit increase by submitting a credit application. Applications can be submitted using our convenient Online Application Portal. You may also submit an application with us by calling 1-800-440-4120 or visiting any of our branch locations.

In order to add an authorized user to your Visa Credit Card, you must provide a written, signed request documenting the full name, phone number and date of birth of the authorized signer. A photocopy of the signer’s ID must also be provided.

You may change your Share Secured credit card to an unsecured Platinum or Platinum Rewards card by submitting a credit application for a new credit card. Applications can be submitted using our convenient Online Application Portal. You may also submit an application with us by calling 1-800-440-4120 or visiting any of our branch locations.


You may use your debit card to make cash and/or check deposits at the ATMs located at any of our six branch locations.

All six of our branch locations have an ATM that is free to members. Additionally, you may find other in-network, fee-free ATMs using the “Find an ATM Near You” feature on our Branch Locations & ATMs resource page.

Credit Card Products

Freedom offers competitive rates on all Visa Credit Cards. Our Visa Platinum and Platinum Rewards cards offer a 0% introductory rate. Visit our credit card page to learn more.

Anyone who wishes to obtain a Freedom Visa is encouraged to apply. Our local underwriters review each application and will make an appropriate recommendation for those with little or no credit. Freedom does offer a secure credit card that is secured against a deposit account in the borrower’s name. Anyone 16 years of age and older qualifies for our secured card. To report your card lost or stolen, use Freedom’s Card Manager App, call us at 1-800-440-4120 or visit any branch location.

To opt-in to SMS text alerts from our Fraud Department, log in to online or mobile banking and choose “Card Fraud Alerts” from the main menu option and follow the prompts.

*Please note, when enrolling more than one card number to the same mobile phone number, you must wait to start the next card until the full enrollment on the first card has been completed. This includes receiving and replying to the text message that is sent during enrollment.

If you think your card information was compromised, contact us immediately by calling 1-800-440-4120 or visiting any branch location. If you have Freedom’s Card Manager App, you can also place a freeze on your card immediately.

To dispute a CREDIT CARD transaction: Please contact Card Services at 1-866-820-6786 or click on “dispute” next to the transaction on the Card Manager App or online.

To dispute a DEBIT card transaction: Please complete our dispute form, contact us at 1-800-440-4120, or visit a branch location for assistance.

Online Banking

Freedom offers multiple methods for making your credit card payment. Payments can be made online, through the credit card site in Online/Mobile Banking, through Freedom’s Card Manager App, by calling 1-800-440-4120, or by visiting any branch location.

You can view your credit card details online with just a few clicks!
• Select your VISA Credit Card tile in the Dashboard or in the Accounts list
• Click the link labelled “Credit Cards” to launch the credit card site.
• If you have not previously registered your card, check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, then follow the remaining prompts to complete verification.
NOTE: You must enter the personal information of the primary cardholder on file.
• Once you have successfully registered your card, the credit card page will open any time you click the “Credit Cards” link in Online or Mobile Banking.
• The full credit card site will load where you can view transactions, statements, make payments, file credit card disputes and more!
Please note that you may also access you full credit card details by downloading our Freedom Card Manager App on your mobile device. Set up a username and password for the app and you will be able to manage all of your Freedom credit and debit cards on the go!

To register for credit card e-Statements, navigate to the credit card portal in Online/Mobile banking, then click Statements & Activity and follow the prompts to “Go Paperless”.


Freedom does not maintain a record or have any access to your PIN. To reset your PIN, call 1-866-985-2273 or visit any branch location.

You can change your debit or credit card PIN by calling 1-866-985-2273 or 1-800-440-4120, or by visiting any branch location.


You may add easily add travel notifications to your debit and credit cards using Freedom’s Card Manager App. This is the best way to manage your credit and debit cards on the go. We also recommend you enroll in Card Fraud Alerts to receive text messages from our fraud team to verify suspicious activity quickly. Our Visa products assess a 1% fee on the transaction amount when your debit card is used as debit or credit at international merchants. If the card is used at an international ATM, it is subject to our standard out-of-network ATM fee plus any additional fees the ATM servicer may charge for the transaction.
