Deposits & Payments After the Merger

What to update, what’s changed, and how to keep your money moving without interruption.

Important Information Regarding Electronic/Direct Deposits and Payments

Following the merger, some members may need to update their electronic deposit and payment information to ensure funds continue to post accurately and on time. Please review the sections below to see what applies to you.

Updating Payroll Deposits, Other Direct Deposits, and Auto Payments

Members who receive payroll deposits, other direct deposits, or who make automated payments should ensure their information is updated to reflect Freedom’s banking details.

When updating your information, use:

Freedom Routing Number: 255077299
Your Account’s ACH/MICR Number: Your full 13-digit account number

Don’t miss this step! Your Freedom account number is slightly different from your previous number and may appear nearly identical. Using the full 13-digit number is essential to avoid posting delays or failed transactions.

For step-by-step instructions on where to find your full account number, please review our tutorial below OR locate it using one of your AFFCU-issued checks:

Early Pay at Freedom

At this time, payroll deposits are credited on the payday designated by your employer. As a result, some members may notice a change in timing and may need to make minor adjustments to their payment schedules.

Freedom is actively working to expand our Early Pay program and plans to offer it more broadly in 2026.

Currently, Early Pay is available through select workplace partners whose employers have opted in. We recommend checking with your employer to see if you are included, or having them contact Freedom to learn more about setting up Early Pay for their organization.
